A car park at Lakeside Shopping Centre has been recognised for its commitment to providing accessible and family-friendly parking, helping to make visits easier, more convenient and inclusive for a wide range of customers.

Lakeside Car Park E (10) provides a comprehensive range of parking options designed around the different needs of customers visiting the shopping centre – including disabled people, customers with hidden disabilities and families visiting with children.

  • 107 wheelchair-accessible spaces, with cross-hatching providing additional room for customers to enter and exit their vehicles safely and comfortably
  • 84 accessible bays for customers who do not require cross-hatching but may benefit from closer or more convenient parking. This option can also support customers with hidden disabilities
  • A dedicated Shopmobility area for customers who require additional assistance during their visit
  • 30 parent-and-child parking spaces, providing additional convenience for families travelling with children
